Notes - C.E. / Amorella model representation 2009 / no choice / C.E.

Almost noon, local time. It has been a rushed morning. Carol had a breakfast with her retired teacher friends, then Jill arrived to do the house cleaning. She had prepared for both. You watched into the second part of Childhood’s End, and have found it stirs superstitious feelings you hoped you had outgrown.

I am okay with Karellen looking demon-like (very much so visually) – this is not a film for anyone PG or younger. In the second night episode Karellan sets up an Ouija board to communicate with (this is the human assumption). At first I thought of my created ‘board’ to learn to talk with myself; this set off some anxiety. Talking with Amorella came from my fingers on a pencil and a notebook of blank lined paper. (1222)

You are at Pine Hill Lake Park, far north lot facing the log cabin (south). Carol is on page 149 of The Burning Room by Michael Connelly. Karellen is interested in the psychic powers humans have, and of course this is a part of Clarke’s novel plot. – Amorella

1228 hours. I don’t have psychic powers. [This was stupid to think but I did.]

You are reading yourself into Clarke’s story line, orndorff, just as people have and will read (so to speak) themselves into the newest Star Wars which premiers here tomorrow. It is part of the fun of being human – it is entertaining to become a part of something you are not even if it is entirely fiction and you know this rationally – however, letting one’s self go is a part of life is it not? – Amorella

1233 hours. What an odd combination of words Amorella. Your question on ‘letting go’ gives me a basket of wheat along with several empty baskets for my own filling.

         Entertainment is practice. – Amorella

1238 hours. This is a very odd perception of entertainment.

It is quite humane, boy, and what bothers you most is that it is a reasonable assumption – entertainment helps one prepare for one’s physical death. – Amorella

1242 hours. You are too blunt.

It is interesting how many people end up dead. – Amorella

Carol interrupted and you drove to Panera on Mason-Montgomery Road for lunch. Carol had a large free salad and you had soup and half a grilled cheese sandwich. Presently, you are at Kroger’s for a few things before heading home. - Amorella

1357 hours. I like the phrased humor in your earlier comment.

There was a time you would have been terrified to see those words come up. – Amorella

1359 hours. I would have thought the end of the world, as we know it was near. This is when Kim was young.

You did think it was the end of the world, as you know it because you secretly thought me to be Gabriel about to blow my horn. The humor here is that you have been blowing your horn (in terms of writing notes, books and blog) ever since. – Amorella

1403 hours. This is the photo of a model I made earlier that you said was as representation of you, the Amorella, in 2009.

Model of Amorella (16 September 2009 blog posting)

Model accepted by Amorella to also represent herself in 2009

This only shows unconscious ‘subjective’ change in my mind, Amorella. It means nothing because my mind showing the creative image of a subjective reality here not the objective reality. Both images are as dreams of imagination, nothing else.

         You are home. – Amorella

1507 hours. I stand by my comment that the sketch yesterday from 1988 and the model shown today from 2009 are my mind’s representations of the Amorella. – rho

I accept the statement just above, orndorff. You have no choice but to sign this statement. Post. - Amorella

Late evening. You had ham, a baked potato and a salad for supper. You both watched NBC News and “NCIS.LA”. In the late afternoon when Carol was napping you finished all but the final conclusion of Childhood’s End liking the first night’s “The Overlords” best. – Amorella

2242 hours. The film was okay, but the story does not lend itself to a good conclusion visually. I’m glad I watched it but see no reason to watch it again. I’ve read the book several times, and see no reason to re-read it either. Psychic powers do not have the same element of plausibility as they did when the book was being written in the 1950’s. There was military/government/university research on such psychic powers and people thought there might be higher plausibility – wishful thinking I suppose.
