Notes - invading space / joy

1742 hours. We had a regular scoop of Graeters in a dish inside – dessert first. Carol is at Kroger’s on Tylersville picking up food to go with scrambled eggs tonight. We were busy with one thing or another in the morning and this afternoon I spent about two hours in the BMV waiting to get my license plate renewed for two years. In two years I have to have my driver’s license renewed also (if I should live so long). When I went in the ticket counter was on 15 and I pulled ticket 58. At least the temperature was cool as the small room had a lot of people sitting patiently. I did not touch my iPhone for about an hour and a half just because. Some people were toying with one gadget or another and a few older folks like myself had brought a book to read, which they were doing. I felt good watching people read. A fellow next to me was on Clarke but I don’t remember the title. I thought about striking up a conversation but held off. I was afraid I’d get carried about the author – one of the best science fiction writers ever.

Over the years you have come to understand that when your passions for author and/or content or anything else are high, you talk for less than a minute and then shut up because it is rare that anyone is really interested about the author or the book or any work by the author and you feel you are invading their personal space, so you politely shut up. - Amorella

2103 hours. This is the real beauty of writing as a communication device – the silence in the writing process. It is a joy like reading.

       Now, post. - Amorella
