Afternoon. This morning you had a leisurely
breakfast with Kim at Scrambler Maries on Sanctus near Polaris. Once home you
headed to the Porter Paint store for samples as Dan is coming Monday stain the
stair rail and paint the master bedroom (and hopefully the little bedroom).
Presently you are waiting for Carol at Kroger's on Mason-Montgomery Road since
there is a good chance of an ice storm tonight/tomorrow. -- Yesterday's lunch
with Fritz was a good-to-see-your-old-friend-at-lunch since it was in June that
you last met. And, you had a good time with Fritz and others at your Class of
1060 supper. - Amorella
1416 hours. I didn't see
Paul; he had had a tough day at two hospitals and didn't get home until after
six and he had to go in this morning for an early surgery. Carol, Kim and the
boys had supper at Subway which is where Owen wanted to go. By the time I got
home at eight-thirty the boys were taking their baths and Paul had already gone
to bed as he wasn't feeling all that well and needed his sleep for this
morning. We had more than twenty for last night's gathering. We had a good time
with inside jokes on those remembering how it was and how it was not growing up
in Westerville Schools from 1947 Kindergarten through 1960 and really sticking
around town and in nearby colleges in the 1960's. -- Kroger's is packed with
people preparing for the probable ice storm; it could be a bust and nothing but
rain. Cincinnati has a reputation for winter storm grocery panics; mostly
because of all the hills -- snow or ice in the forecast and few want to venture
out. Why, because of life experience in Cincinnati when it snows or there is
ice. I figure it goes back to the Great Wisconsin Ice Sheet that ended right
south of Tylersville Road. The ice was at least a mile high at the time and
eventually melted into Lake Erie (really all the Great Lakes and the Ohio, Missouri
and Mississippi Rivers.
Home from Kroger's and you are ready for a
nap. Carol is playing an unfinished iPad word or number game.
1615 hours.
After my nap we began cleaning the wall
paintings, and decorative Latin art works and looking at room colors. Surprisingly
to me, the off white in the master bath brings out the art and I think it would
look good in the master bedroom as well -- brighten the room up a bit.
Carol has begun cleaning out the bookcase
and you see you are going to have to help one way or another. - Amorella
1635 hours.
Carol is better working on her own, deciding on the fate of each book as she
readies to move them. We have plenty of room for everything in our bedroom to
be put in Kim's old bedroom if need be. Dan says the bulk furniture will set in
the middle of the room while he paints. This is sort of a fun project -- the
getting ready.
You had left over turkey soup for supper and
will watch the DVRed NBC News within the hour, after which you may just go to
bed or listen to Pandora before bed. - Amorella
1848 hours. I never
really had a full nap today. If I get a second wind maybe I'll work on chapter
five. I'm curious as to where and when the Soki is going to pop up. So far it
appears to be a "natural consequence" although (to me) this appears
an odd way to place the words. -- In checking online I found the words relate
to parental upbringing of children. There can be natural consequences of
allowing a child to play in the street; but rules can be set logically in advance
to keep the child safe. Obviously, I did not use the words "natural
consequence" with that meaning in mind. I need another descriptive way to
mean there is a natural (logical) order to sentence and paragraph and/or to
dialogue yet there appears to be, within a reasonable order of thought a place
or places for interruption or to put in a theatre-like aside [noun: a remark
or passage by a character in a play that is intended to be heard by
the audience but unheard by the other characters in the
play].
Your 'aside' definition is not quite correct
because somewhere deeper within you feel it may be probable that, I, the Amorella,
understood in advance about where you would place the Soki's words within a
particular context you would see with [yes, this is where the Soki will speak
and now I (orndorff) know on what the Soki will speak about. This is a setup, a
sorted series of predestined comments by the Soki but not known by orndorff
until he 'reads' and thus unconsciously triggers the interruption at the 'right/correct'
place in the dialogue]. This is what was going on in your head and you didn't
know how to express it. - Amorella
1911 hours. This certainly
clears up the intent of communication from your perspective Amorella, and
although I would like to completely or even partially disagree I have to say
what you express appears quite reasonable to me and in no way is a rationalization.
You pick the words out of my head and show my thinking clearer than I can see
and express it. This is very odd and boarding on the unnatural yet to move in
that direction would indeed be a rationalization. You are something else,
Amorella. I'm glad you are a trustworthy inner friend. - rho
You watched DVRed NBC News, "Elementary" and "The This Old House Hour" before turning off the TV. Checked your email and remembered you were going to respond to former student Cathleen C. some forty-five years ago: "Tell me: Who is your Muse?" - Amorella
2239 hours. This is my Facebook
response tonight:

Good question, presently, at this point in my life I do not
know. Amorella is not a muse, but she is the closest to 'being' a muse. She is
not a muse though because she is my inner writer. I am inspired by her, but she
is the writer not me. I am inspired by her willingness to share her perspective
with me. - rho :-)
