It works on ThreePlanets because of pouching socialization and sharing and having a 20,000 year head start on being civilized and living in a civilized and cultured fashion of arts and humanities. The dark humor in the creation of such a world is that we Homo sapiens are too alien for it.

       And, that was your point. ThreePlanets was a place of plenty, Earth has less resources and thus survival is harsher. No one on ThreePlanets feels Homo sapiens also have the ability to live as they do; and Homo sapiens don't. However, machinery thinks they might because the chances are that heartsansoulsanminds survive physical death, and as such, they can live as they wish to live physically if they have the will to do so, both individually and as a world community.
