Today is Paul's birthday. It is also the birthday of two long time public school classmate twins, Kay and Ann. Saturday evening you stayed with the boys while Kim and Paul headed to see old friends in Worthington. The boys wanted to watch "The Avengers" after supper -- they had been out playing or swimming most of the day. Trouble began going to bed as they were still wide awake, but eventually (by nine) they were asleep. We had a fun late afternoon/evening with them. Sunday, was another excellent weather day. Family began arriving at eleven twenty and stayed until three or so. Twenty-eight people, including seven kids from ages five to twelve. Good times, good spirits. Everyone appeared to enjoy her/himself from your perspective. Time to head out to lunch. Later, dude. - Amorella
Mid-afternoon. You had Smashburgers for a late lunch. Carol is presently at Kroger's on Tylersville and Cox picking up essentials. You stopped in to pick up your monthly Bydureon prescription and are waiting. It is going to rain -- sprinkling at the present. - Amorella
1456 hours. I've got to watch for Carol. Later.
You have been checking email and see that Fritz sent a note at your request suggesting Bob Evans for lunch on Thursday; the same day your Class of 1960 gets together Uptown Westerville for its supper gathering. You are looking forward to it. On to a past unclosed subject. Here is your last line of the 7 July 2017 post. - Amorella
"I [Richard] am not the brightest person on the block, particularly in terms of spiritual thinking."
1629 hours. I really am not sure what spiritual thinking is. I have to reassure myself that I first have a clear focus here. The problem is that 'thinking' is one thing but 'spiritual' is another; and when spiritual and thinking are put together they may mean something else altogether.
Aptly put and understood; continue with your
definitions. - Amorella

I'm going with 'reflective consideration' as a near synonym for 'spiritual
thinking'. This blog does contain seven plus years of reflective considerations.
I accept that at factual in that this blog contains a variety of personal reflective
considerations within many postings, many of them hypothetical reflective
considerations. These varies in house consideration demonstrate that I am not
among the brightest people on the block when it comes to reflective
considerations. - rho
You are arrogant. If you are not among the
brightest, how would you ever realize this? - Amorella

hours. This is a similar simplified rhetorical question. If my IQ were 120, how
would I grasp someone with an IQ of 160? The answer. I do not know enough to understand
what I don't know. I become foggy mentally. This happens often enough. An old
example found in this blog is that when attempting to define an Angel (a real
spiritual messenger); I cannot do so because I cannot define what I cannot
understand, that is, I cannot conjure up an empathetic spiritual body that is
Angelic by its metaphysical nature. I cannot imagine what it is to be angelic
because I am human. The closest example I have in mind is not from a religious
book, it is from John Milton's Paradise Lost; it is also from the
paintings/drawings by William Blake because both spark my imagination
empathetically. Milton and Blake had the creative and artistic talent to
stimulate what is spiritual within. - rho

Within the above definition I oddly identify most with the proverb, "fools
rush in where angels fear to tread". - rho
You do rush in from time to time, but you
also example of backing away from the spiritual when you discover yourself
prudent to do so. You are not the brightest person on the block but you are far
from being a spiritual fool. It would be arrogant of you to think otherwise. No
more today. Post. - Amorella
