Notes - stubborn arrogance / better or worse

After noon. Carol has an appointment this afternoon. You plan to sit back and watch last night's show. This morning you were feeling good taking a substantial sum from your private savings account and placing it in your regular account figuring that since you couldn't find any toys to buy with it (non-guilt savings) that it will be useful with the eventual Spring to Summer move north. - Amorella

1247 hours. I am getting to old spending money on toys that I am not interested in anymore. The games like Nintendo 64 system and games I saved up for; I actually got out basic anger and aggressive issues in my forties through sixties. Most had to do with the state education requirements environment, not the classroom or colleagues/administrators.

Arrogance, boy, it was mostly caused by stubbornness and a heavy dose of personal arrogance. Post. - Amorella

Here you are in the bedroom listening to Rachael Maddow while Carol reads the latest Consumer Reports which you finished a few minutes ago.- Amorella

2127 hours. I suppose it is just curiosity.

No, this goes deeper. You and Carol both felt the same way during the hearings concerning Nixon. You both wrote letters displaying your anger to people in the Congress and the Senate. You both have and had a deep respect for the historical aspects of the United States. Your anger comes from your respect of the Dead and respect for freedom for the responsible citizen. It's a mix. You, like everyone else, is a mix of duty to ones' self and duty to family and duty to one's communities with one of those communities being the world, your planet and humankind. - Amorella

2138 hours. We may not be brothers and sisters, but our species is full of cousins. This should be our first focus not politics and religions, per se. Health and education should be a part of our first focus, just as within a small family. Learning responsibility along with respect and politeness, then living this as much as possible. Do under others what you would have them do unto you. Such a simple rule. We then make rules into laws. Laws are never simple because more words are open to more interpretations and the need for lawyers rather than judges -- basically the wisdom of the community at various levels up to and including the planet as a whole in terms of the continued health and welfare and education of its citizens. I'm embarrassed to think on how simple this is to me. The human being first as an individual and as a part of the greater communities/cultures of the world should be the focus. We are a family, or should be first, a family of cousins who live in a variety of cultures. I'm done for tonight. Passing thoughts. We all have passing thoughts. Life intervenes, as Amorella says, and humans go about the survival of being human as much as possible, depending on their individual and cooperative existence within the world as it is. (2203)

Let it go, orndorff. Cheer up (things might get worse or better), this is the reality of life individual and common. Post. - Amorella

2206 hours. Worse or better -- better or worse -- we are wed to the world.

That's one of many ways to look at it. - Amorella
