The cultural beginning of a new year. Sent and received New Year's
greeting from Sharon and Gil as well as Jean and James. Also, a call from Kim,
Paul, Owen and Brennan. Paul sent pictures of your basement in/on the lot,
nothing more has been done, you assume, because of the extreme cold and
holidays. - Amorella
2133 hours. This afternoon
Carol made pork, sauerkraut, a baked potato halved for each plate and peas for
the veggie. The lunch was very good, very much like on last New Year's day. We
took a ride up to the Otterbein health service and retirement community near
Lebanon, stopped at Graeter's and Kroger's before returning home. I attempted a
nap with no success. Later, we visited our neighbor's wonderful cat to keep her
well. Tomorrow the King's will return home. We are sure she misses people about
because she really enjoys our short thirty or so minute visits twice a day. Tonight
we had snack suppers and watched the news and most of the fifth episode of
"The Crown" on Netflix after taking the garbage and recycle trash to
the street for tomorrow's one day off schedule pick-up. This was unlike me to
do the summary Amorella. You do a more succinct job.
You weren't bothered or put-off by taking on the common bits of
everyday living? - Amorella
2147 hours. Not tonight for
reasons I can't explain, and/or don't wish to in any case.
How would it be if your heartansoulanmind were resolved not to be
personified by the likenesses you have conjured from research for your comfort?
- Amorella
2153 hours. Where do you come
up with this, Amorella? I didn't know my spirit, as such, would wish to rebel
against my very nature.
Your heart for one is no player on a stage though your mind doesn't
really care for being on a stage or not. Your soul finds this rather crude and
immature. Consciously, you act like you want to set the rules for a dialogue I
am to create with your spiritual parts. - Amorella
2200 hours. Why bring this up
now? I'm tired and want to go to bed.
Indeed, you do. - Amorella
2202 hours. Are you being my
'better nature' here, Amorella? That is, are you attempting to show me by
demonstration what my better nature might be? - Amorella
Here is the Lincoln quotation, boy. - Amorella

“We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies.
Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords
of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better
angels of our nature.”
Abraham Lincoln

2208 hours. O the powers of Google at
my lack-of specific-memories' disposal. Amazing, however, seeing the quotation
in this setting can and does show a special reverence. I am angry, defiant and
torn within. It seems to me this 'debate' as set below:
"Is the
soul granted immortality by grace?
or
Is the
soul's immortality innate by nature?"
can be best
answered by the soul herself. It would be irreverent to call her my soul
because that cannot be the case. She was created before I, before my body and
heartanmind. Why should heart and mind pretend to debate? It is a waste of further
time and energy.

.
The Mind can better respond to the
question. The Soul existed before the University, before the physics of Time
and Matter. She is immortal by G-D.
The Heart replies that the Soul
existence before Word is unknown but the Heart is swayed by the passion of the
reasoning. Immortality is not Nature's way. Immortality contains no force yet
it exists and may in effect cause Nature.
The Soul is before the I, which is in
great part, but not all Nature.

2238 hours. I agree
wholeheartedly with heartansoulanmind. - rho
Simplicity. Post. - Amorella
2241 hours. For some reason in
my amusement there a drift exists that I am simple-minded. - rho
