Notes - 3 and 4 April / But I did /

3 April 2018

Afternoon. You are sitting at the earthen dam in Pine Hill Lakes Park.. Earlier you were over at the Little Miami hoping to have your Subway picnic. The temperature is seventy-two and windy. This morning you got up to find you had had over two inches of rain during the night and the runlet behind you was full to the stone walkway, meaning it was about a foot from the top of the earthen dam behind your neighbor's house to the north. It was higher than it was three weeks ago and that was the highest you had ever seen it. The photoshoot was cancelled and the house won't be listed possibly for another week. Checking your phone there is a tornado watch and a flood warning in effect for Mason. You are home as the rains begin again. - Amorella

Late afternoon. Today the flood control earthen dam is down to the runlet it usually is. You and Carol both took turns cleaning off the cement slab for table and chairs. It was under more than a foot of water. Hopefully, sometime next week your house will be officially up for sale. - Amorella

1728 hours. Today was a better day though Jill called in ill and thus did not come to clean. Perhaps she come later this week. We had lunch at Cracker Barrel and I was looking forward to their chicken pot pie but they had sold out by the time we arrived. Much colder today, no reading in the car with the windows down. This is all so trivial in the greater sense of the whole of nature that surrounds us and is from whence we came into existence. All for now.

1809 hours. Our Westerville High School Class of 1960 lost another member last night. Bev Clark as we knew her then died of cancer after a second five year fight. We met and talked regularly along with her husband Jim at our bimonthly suppers since our fifty anniversary as a class. In high school we had double dated for junior prom I believe. She went with my friend Doug (John) Goss and I went with her friend Bev. We all had a good time. Those in our class are 76 sometime during this year 2018. More of us leave every year and none of us would expect anything different. It is sad when old friends leave but we living will leave also and it would be so very sad to be the last one in the class to go. If possible, our spirits will be somewhere waiting to join our hearts once again on the same plane of existence. This is a hope I have for all my friends, all those in my heart of hearts.

And, as human beings all, this appears a natural thought of heart not mind or soul. Why are you expecting me to say, "Be Well and Prosper" orndorff? - Amorella

1823 hours. I smile without will and I have no idea why I was expecting you to 'say' that.

But I did, boy. That's my point. Post. - Amorella
